Hold your phone up and let the room read it.
Type a message, turn the phone sideways, and it fills the screen. Make it big, set it in motion, and let it carry farther than your voice can.
Holler contains no networking code of its own. Not "we don't collect data" — there is nothing in it that sends. No analytics, no accounts, no servers. Purchases go through the App Store.

Does it need an internet connection?
No. Holler has no networking code of its own, so it works in aeroplane mode, in a basement venue, and on a dead network. Buying an unlock goes through the App Store, which does need a connection.
Is there a subscription?
No. Everything is a one-time purchase, and unlocking everything covers future styles and add-ons too.
What does the free version do?
The whole core. Type a message, turn the phone, and show it at any size, colour, and speed you like. Paying unlocks the decorative styles and effects.
Why did my screen get brighter?
The screen goes to full brightness while your message is up so it can be read across a room. It returns to where it was when you close the display.
Does it flash?
Only deliberately, and only slowly. Flash and Strobe are capped below three pulses per second, and Reduce Motion disables both.
Are my messages stored anywhere?
